FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I am not a delegate for my chapter; can I attend the Leadership Summit & Council Meeting?
Yes. All CREW Network members are welcome and encouraged to attend the Leadership Summit & Council Meeting. Delegates/alternate delegates and CREW Network Board members will be assigned seats during the Council Meeting for voting purposes; all other CREW Network members will sit at the guest tables.

What is the dress code for the Leadership Summit & Council Meeting?
Business casual is the suggested attire for the event. Hotels try to maintain meeting room temperatures at a comfortable level, however there is a chance at some point during the meeting you may become too hot or too cold. Layered clothing is suggested in order to remain comfortable.

How do I share the information received at the Leadership Summit & Council Meeting with my chapter?
CREW Network staff will post the slides on the CREW Network website. The chapter delegates will also receive an article via email within two weeks following the meeting that can be included in your monthly newsletter to your members.

What are dine arounds and how do they work?
Dine arounds provide CREW Network members an opportunity to network with other members to share ideas, interests, and business opportunities. Dine around expenses will be split evenly between the attendees, including transportation. We request restaurants to put alcoholic beverages on a separate ticket.  It is suggested that you bring cash to the dine around.

What are the board hosted dine arounds?
The board hosted dine arounds, held Thursday evening, provide the chapter delegates, or alternate delegates, and chapter presidents the opportunity to have dinner and network with their CREW Network board member and CREW Network Foundation trustee liaisons in order to discuss CREW Network initiatives as well as chapter successes and challenges. The designated delegates, or alternate delegates, and chapter presidents who register for the CREW Network Leadership Summit & Council Meeting are automatically pre-assigned a restaurant location. Detailed information for your assigned dine around will be in your registration packet onsite.  The process of splitting the check is the same for both the board hosted dine arounds and the Friday night dine arounds.

How do I sign up for the Friday night dine arounds?
The signup sheets will be available at the CREW Montreal hospitality table during receptions and meeting breaks until 1:00 pm on Friday, June 15th.  The signup sheets will include specific details for the respective dine around.

Where do I find information about the local area?
You’ll want to visit CREW Montreal’s hospitality table!  CREW Montreal members will provide information on the Friday morning NetWalk/NetRun, as well as local information including attractions, services, shopping and more.

Are there other means of transportation to and from the airport?
There is an Airport Shuttle Bus 747, but you’ll most likely find a taxi is the easiest, as the bus stops about one block from the hotel.
